UX/UI Designer

Unifi Protocol is seeking a UX/UI Designer to assist our team in designing high quality experiences for the web.

About Us:

We are a passionate start-up and have been operating in the crypto/blockchain space for the past three years. We currently operate DeFi (cryptocurrency decentralized finance) exchanges, staking nodes, and DAO governance on over five different blockchains. We also have various other applications/initiatives in our development pipeline.

About You:

• The ideal candidate will have a track record of designing production-quality web templates, and working with and developing within brand guidelines.
• An interest in providing a great user experience to our customers.
• An ability to pivot and brainstorm new challenges. Our industry changes quickly, and you should want to solve new and interesting challenges.
• You will work with our Marketing and Development teams to create and implement our brand identity across our digital portfolio, giving our users a consistent experience navigating our suite of products.

Starting at UNIFI:

During the initial onboarding period, the candidate will be working closely with our CEO and Operations/Marketing teams to develop and outline job requirements and processes.

UX/UI Designer Responsibilities:

• Design production quality comps, interactions, aligned with our branding guides.
• Work with our Development and Marketing teams to complete designs on time in order to meet our production calendar.
• Progressively enhance our existing designs to supply iterative improvements
• Create and maintain website style guide
• Maintain a design library to ensure consistency across assets

Requirements:

• An eye for design!
• Proficiency in design software that works well for you
• Ability to have ownership and autonomy within their production process
• At least 3 years of demonstrated experience in UI/UX design roles.
• Understanding web production requirements
• Exceptional communication, and collaboration skills (this is crucial in our remote environment).

Nice to Have

• Experience and knowledge with blockchains and Decentralized Finance is a huge plus
• Previous experience with web/app creation and launches desirable
• Some animation or illustration experience
